Design: Lunchbox, by Lauren Crill

The esthetic and sandwich shop menu are well matched in this space. This design includes a great deal of energy generation and suggests a simple, low energy use menu. This sort of menu requires little energy to prepare and little staff to operate. The high efficiency induction cooking surface is an excellent addition.

Buying food from local farms directly is mentioned as a food source. While local sourcing is an excellent idea, distributers are an appropriate intermediary that consolidates travel miles.

This design would benefit from a passive solar heating installation as well as food growth.
